Uganda Cranes Lose to Rwanda in Second Leg of 2018 CHAN Qualifiers

The Uganda Cranes this evening (Saturday August 19th 2017) lost to Rwanda National Team Amavumbi Stars in the second leg of the 2018 CHAN Qualifiers.

The match, which was played at Kigali Regional Stadium, Nyamirambo in Rwanda, ended 2-0 in Favour of the Rwanda Amavumbi Stars.

Rwanda’s goals were scored by Yannick Mukunzi in the 8th minute and Theiry Manzi in the 15th minute.

However, Uganda won 3-2 on aggregate and now qualifies for CHAN 2018 finals to be held in Kenya.

It will be remembered that Uganda Cranes beat the Amavumbi Stars 3-0 in the first leg, which was played at St. Mary’s Kitende Stadium last Saturday (12th August, 2017).
