MP Abiriga Speaks Out on Urinating Outside Ministry of Finance: I Was Badly Off

Arua Municipality Member of Parliament Ibrahim Abiriga has admitted urinating out the Ministry of Finance on Monday evening.

Abiriga was speaking in an interview with NBS Television at Parliament on Tuesday afternoon when he explained that he was “badly off”.

“I was simply urinating but I don’t know why you journalists are spreading the photos even on WhatsApp. I was urinating, what is wrong with that?” Hon Abiriga lamented

“I urinated because I was badly off.How can I keep urine on me? I was answering nature’s call,” he added.

This follows pictures of the legislator urinating outside Ministry of Finance, which have since gone viral on Social Media.

In the pictures Hon Abiriga’s bodyguard is seen standing aside and looking on as the MP’s car is also parked by the roadside.

The public has condemned Hon Abiriga’s actions and called on Kampala City Authority (KCCA) to punish the MP as it usually does when ordinary civilians commit the same offence.
