VIDEO: Ziza Bafana Stings MPs, Government in New Song “Batutunze”

Ugandan ragga-dancehall musician Ziza Bafana has released the video of his latest single titled “Batutunze”, whose audio hit the airwaves about two weeks ago.

He becomes the first big artist to produce a song with clear lyrics directed to Members of Parliament and government.

Ziza Bafana hit studios this month and produced the ragga tune following the tabling of the Age Limit Bill.

Given the current political pressures, the song has easily found its way into the masses in addition to his image as a popular artist.

In the song, the self-proclaimed ‘Katonda Wa Ragga’ cites that leaders (MPs) have sold off the country, Uganda.

He also speaks of uncertainty of the future generation in what he sings as deteriorating state of affairs with moral degeneration, corruption, culture erosion.

In the same lyrics, Ziza prays that God saves Uganda from “vultures” and “greedy leaders”.
