Several Ugandan celebrities including musicians, comedians, socialites and media personalities have congratulated popular singer Eddy Kenzo for making the country proud at the just concluded 2017 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held on Sunday evening at the Convention Centre Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.
Eddy Kenzo won the ‘Best Male Artiste East Africa’ award beating top East African artistes including, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Alikiba and Kenyan rapper Octopizzo among others with whom he was nominated in the same category, to win the award.
At the same awards, the Big Talent Entertainment singer’s ‘Biology Album’ was also voted the ‘Album of the Year’, beating Nigerian music star Wizkid’s ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ and Fally Ipupa’s ‘Tokoos’ to mention but a few.
Different celebrities including singers, Radio and Weasel, Mesach Semakula, Fille, Irene Ntale, Nutty Neithan and comedian Salvado among others took to Social Media to congratulate the “Jubilation” hit maker.
