Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, Emirates Aviation University celebrated today the graduation of 220 postgraduate and undergraduate students.
His Highness handed over the certificates to the graduates during the ceremony that was held at the university campus and was attended by Emirates Group Management members, parents and other guests.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum congratulated the students and said: “Emirates Aviation University is distinguished by its academic and educational standards and is renowned for providing superior training programs in numerous fields of the aviation industry. We are confident that each of our graduates today is well equipped with the best knowledge and skills necessary to effectively contribute to the labor force”.
“Congratulations to our students from all around the world who have worked hard work to complete their education. Earning a degree is a big accomplishment and is a platform they will use to pursue their dreams and careers. At the university, we work hard to prepare and equip all our students with the skills and confidence to that they will need to face the ever changing challenges in the modern workforce,” said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University.
69 graduates were sponsored by The National Recruitment and Development division of the Emirates Group and their specializations included Bachelor degrees in air transport management, business management, software engineering and aircraft maintenance engineering.
EAU launched this year five new business programmes, responding to the demand for specialized, high-quality business related degrees. The new business programmes are: Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, HR Management, and Marketing. All degrees are dually awarded by EAU in partnership with Coventry University and complement the existing programmes offered by EAU Business School.
