Jose Chameleone Arrives in Congo Ahead of Amani Festival Finale

Legendary Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo ahead of his performance at the 2018 Amani Festival this Sunday.

Chameleone arrived in Congo in the company of his singing brother Pallaso, Rwanda’s Deejay Pius and a 16-man band.

“Chameleone has been a darling to us all these years. Congolese people love him to the bone and it was solely our intention to give them their best artistes. He will be the event’s biggest guest performer,” said the event organizers at a press conference.

The Amani Festival which is now in its fifth edition, is one of the biggest cultural events in the Great Lakes Region.
