Although she is one of Africa’s most sought after stand-up comedians, Anne Kansiime is already planning for retirement.
The popular Ugandan has set up a beatiful tourist lodge, which she has named ‘Kansiime Back Packers’.
The lodge which has over 15 rooms is located in Kabale at Lake Bunyonyi, about 20km from Kabale Town.
“My plan is to create a beautiful place to celebrate life. I really can’t wait for this to be ready so I can play host,” Kansiime said about her yet to be opened guest house.
“It’s going to be a quiet place where people can come and relax,” she added.
According to the comedian, the lodge will be opened in July this year.
