The body of fallen cancer patient Carol Atuhirwe will be flown into the country on Monday June 5.
Atuhirwe who has been in India for close to a year died on Thursday at Narayana Hospital, in Bangalore where she had been admitted.
She died of cancer of the throat which she had battled for years.
In 2016, 35 year-old Atuhirwe touched many lives and brought the political divide together through her fundraising campaign dubbed Save Carol.
The campaign attracted politicians, policy makers, businessmen, students among many others who contributed for her surgery.
A requiem service will be held at All Saints cathedral Nakasero to pray for the body of the deceased after which it will be transported to Ibanda for burial.
Atuhirwe will be laid to rest on Wednesday May 7 at her ancestral home in Ishongororo, Ibanda District.
