Hundreds of mourners on Wednesday (June 7th) attended the burial of fallen Ugandan cancer victim Carol Atuhirwe.
Carol Atuhirwe was laid to rest at their ancestoral home in Kabaare Village in Ishongororo, Ibanda District.
She died of Cancer on Thursday (June 1st) at Narayana Hospital, in Bangalore, India where she had been admitted.
Her burial was attended by family members, friends and other concerned Ugandans that got to know of her through the viral #SaveCarol fundraising campaign, where people from different divides joined hands to raise funds for her treatment.
May her soul rest in peace.
