President Yoweri Museveni’s senior advisor on political affairs Yekoyada Nuwagaba has been arrested for allegedly fleecing traditional healer Sylvia Namutebi popularly known as Maama Fiina.

Nuwagaba reportedly conned Maama Fiina of Shs 2m after he told her he knew the killers of her husband Maj Muhammad Kiggundu who was gunned down by gunmen travelling on motorcycles at Masanafu in the Rubaga Division of Kampala in November 2017.

Nuwagaba was nabbed by Flying Squad officers at around 7pm while leaving a meeting at the office of the Prime Minister.

According to Flying Squad commander Herbert Muhangi, Nuwagaba had solicited the money two months after Maj Kiggundu’s shooting.

He would then switch off his phones.

Left with no option, Maama Fiina reported the matter to State House.
