News reaching us from South Africa indicates that South African-based Ugandan socialite Chris Mbibo, popularly known as Cameroon Gitawo is critically sick and admitted in hospital.

According to our sources in South Africa, Gitawo is admitted at Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria, the same hospital where Rich Gang socialite Ivan Semwanga breathed his last.

Sharing a photo of Gitawo on his sick bed via Facebook, his friend Meddie Ssentongo wrote, “Pray for Cameroon Gitawo”.

Cameroon Gitawo’s sickness comes about a month after South African based Ugandan businessman and socialite Ivan Semwanga fell sick and later passed on.

Gitawo was a member of the defunct ‘The Money Team’ (TMT), a group of rich socialites, who were known for throwing lavish parties and donating to the needy.

He however later disappeared from the social scene.
