Newly elected Kyadondo East MP and singer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has finally revealed his intentions to run for Presidency of the Republic on Uganda.
Bobi Wine was speaking to his supporters at Kasangati Saza Grounds on Tuesday evening (July 11, 2017) after being sworn in at Parliament.
“Thank you all for supporting me in this race and most importantly, I would like to thank my beautiful wife for believing in me,” Bobi Wine said.
“Barbie, I want to promise you that before I die, I will make you the first lady of this country,” he added, amidst cheers from his supporters.
The musician recently won the Kyadondo East by-election with 77% of the votes, beating Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party candidate Apollo Kantinti and NRM’s Sitenda Ssebalu among others.
