Drama engulfed at Nakulabye a Kampala suburb on Tuesday afternoon (July 11, 2017) when local musician Buchaman swore in as the new Ghetto President, overthrowing singer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
All this happened while Bobi Wine was swearing in as Kyadondo East Member of Parliament at Paliament, after winning the constituency’s by-election with a landslide victory two weeks ago.

According to Buchaman, Bobi Wine ceased to be Ghetto President when he chose to join Ugandan politics.
“A Ghetto President cannot wake up one day and become a Member of Parliament, such things do not happen in the Ghetto,” Buchaman told a small crowd that had gathered around him.
“An MP cannot effectively run the operations in the Ghetto because he is now a member of another Government. For that reason, I am the new Ghetto President,” he added.
It will be remembered that the “Lwaki Temumatira” singer had endorsed Bobi Wine’s opponent, Apollo Kantinti (FDC) in the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament race.
Buchaman had a bitter split with Bobi Wine after accusing the Firebase Entertainment boss of exploitation.
