Tanzanian superstar Naseeb Abdul Juma aka Diamond Platnumz will be performing at this year’s Kampala City Festival Charity Concert, The Tower Post can confirm.
The 2017 Kampala City Festival Charity Concert will take place on Friday, October 6th 2017 before the main festival on Sunday, 8th October 2017.
Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Jennifer Musisi unveiled Diamond as the International Artist for the for the Charity Concert at the official launch of the 2017 Kampala City Festival held at KCCA Headquarters on Wednesday morning.
Speaking about the event in a video recording, Diamond said, “I am coming to Kampala for the Charity Event on October 6th. I will be performing all my songs live with my band.”
“I will be singing and dancing. Everyone should be there,” he added.
This will be the second time for Diamond Platnumz to perform in Kampala. The singer put up a memorable performance alongside Nigeria’s Patoranking at the ‘Born To Win’ Concert held at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala on 18th December, 2015.
