Cross boarder socialite Zari Hassan’s mother Halima Matovu Hassan was on Friday (July 21) laid to rest at her ancestral home in Busujju, Mityana.
The burial was attended by hundreds of mourners including Zari’s husband and Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz, his mother Kendrah Michael, relatives and friends.
Halima Matovu Hassan, Zari’s mother was pronounced dead at Nakasero Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Thursday morning.
She died at the age of 58.
