PHOTOS: Grief as Bodies of UPDF Soldiers Killed in Somalia Arrive at Entebbe

The bodies of 12 UPDF soldiers killed in Somalia have this afternoon (Wednesday August 02, 2017) arrived at Entebbe military base

The soldiers were killed in an Al-Shabaab ambush on Sunday in Somalia while serving on an Amisom peace-keeping mission.

Seven soldiers were injured.

It was a moment of grief as relatives of the fallen soldiers burst into tears when the bodies arrived.

The fallen soldiers will be accorded decent burials, according to Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs Adolf Mwesigye.
