Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has congratulated Uhuru Kenyatta on his re-election as Kenyan President.

Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Friday evening declared Ihuru Kenyatta winner of Tuesday’s election with 54.3% of the total votes cast, while his rival Raila Odinga got 44.7%.

In his congratulatory message, Museveni noted that Kenyatta’s re-election is a clear testimony of the trust Kenyans have in him (Kenyatta).

“I look forward to continue working with you to strengthen further brotherly relations and cooperation between our two countries,” party of Museveni’s Message read.
