Popular Ugandan Luga-flow rapper Gravity Omutujju has joined the list of musicians who have come out to support bed ridden JahLive Studios producer Danz Kumapeesa, who is currently receiving treatment at St Francis Hospital Nsambya.
Danz Kumapeesa is the producer behind hit songs like Winnie Nwagi’s “Musawo”, “You’re Sweet” by Rema and “Mbozi Za Malwa” by Bebe Cool and Sauti Sol among others.
He was in June this year admitted at St Francis Hospital Nsambya after being beaten up by unknown thugs. He is still in critical condition at the same medical facility with an outstanding bill amounting to more than Shs 20 Million.
Gravity Omutujju on Thursday (August 24, 2017) visited Danz Kumapeesa in hospital and handed Shs 1m and other items to the producer’s mother.
The rapper also called upon his fellow artistes, and Ugandans in general, to contribute towards the noble cause.
“I have contributed not because I am rich but because I was touched when I saw the photo of Danz Kumapeesa’s condition. I call upon my fellow musicians and Ugandans wherever you are to come out and support in whichever way they can,” Gravity said.
Musician Bebe Cool and tycoon SK Mbuga, among others, have also made commendable contributions towards the cause.
According to the producer’s mother, her son is recovering steadily and may be discharged soon
