Uganda’s ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has won nine out of the 10 LC5 chairperson and Woman MP seats in the newly created districts of Pakwach, Namisindwa, Kyotera, Rukiga and Bunyangabu.
According to results from Thursday elections, NRM only lost the Kyotera district Woman MP seat to Democratic Party’s Robina Ssentongo.
