Nigerian music star Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid is set to announce the date for his Uganda Concert.
It will be remembered that the Afrobeat star had earlier this year promised that he would compensate Ugandans after his cancelled concert dubbed “Wizkid Live in Concert”, which was to be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval in December, 2016.
The “Daddy Yo” hit maker revealed via twitter that he will be announcing the dates for his upcoming concerts in Uganda, Ethiopia, Angola and Botswana next week.
In another tweet, the singer noted that he is trying to make it back to everywhere he missed.
“Even if I have to make it happen from my own pocket! Will make it up to all my fans,” he wrote.
This development comes just a day after WizKid made history by becoming the first African artist to headline a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK on Sunday.
Ugandans on Twitter have however warned the singer not to cancel on them again!
