Makerere University bursar Augustine Tamale has resigned about two years since he took up the job.

Tamale has written to management informing them of his decision to quit his job.

On April 20, 2018, Tamale submitted his notice of resignation to Human Resource Director Andrew Abunyang.

“The purpose of this letter is to give a notice of resignation from the position of bursar of Makerere University,” wrote Tamale.

“I will serve for the next two months under this notice and leave on Friday June 29, 2018.”

Tamale said he had resigned for “personal reasons’.

He previously worked at  Vision Group.
