The seventh edition of roast and rhyme which took place last Sunday at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo brought sensational singer Jamal Wasswa back on stage.
The event which took place at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo just like the previous editions brought together music, beer and meat in a fun packed combo.
Emceed by Roger Mugisha, the fete featured performances from the Aka Dope band, Fefebussi also known as the smallest rapper in Uganda, The Mith, JamalWaswa among others.
Sensational artist Jamal who has been off the music scene for some time excited the crowd with his songs like “Obawuwo” “Omusomesa”, “Abakyala Bazire” and “Sooka Osabe” among others.
The Bell Lager powered event saw revelers coming in as early as 11am with their BBQ cooking stoves, ice coolers, camping chairs. blankets, lesus and of course meat of all kinds. By 3PM, it was already a full house.
Roast and Rhyme which has now become a popular event is platform for Ugandan Music. Bell Jamz together with Swangz Avenuecontinue to celebrate and showcase the unique and diverse local music talent.
The setting for the fete features a comfortable and cozy environment bringing friends and families together to bond over great live acoustic music and meat roasting with beer as the perfect accompaniment.
