Renowned Ugandan social media influencer Faisal Ssesanga alias Pyepar has set Thursday July 27th as the date for his official Twitter welcome party.
Pyepar whose former Twitter account got permanently suspended on Thursday July 19th had gained over 77,000 followers, with a monthly tweet impressions ranging from 3 to 5 million.
Reasons for his account’s suspension remain unknown although a leaked email seen by The Tower Post indicated that he had violated Twitter rules multiple times.
“This account will not be restored. Please do not respond to this email as replies and appeals will not be monitored,” the email further reads.
A professional Telecom Engineer, Pyepar is arguably among East Africa’s top 30 influencers on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.
He has indirectly and directly worked with a number of local and international brands and campaigns most of which have been successful on Social media. Social media has grown at an incredible rate over the years, so it is no wonder that Pyepar wants to get back on Twitter so he can reach back out to his followers and build on his platform again. He has also invited all tweeps from across Kampala to join him at Valhalla Bar’s reggae themed night Jamrock Thursdays for a party which he has dubbed #PyeparReborn.
The party will feature Deejays Ciza and Naselow with three beers sold at 10,000 up to 9PM.
There is no entrance fee to the party.
