Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine will today Tuesday appear in court over charges of inciting violence and holding an unlawful assembly.
The development was revealed on Tuesday morning by sources close to the singer.
Bobi Wine, together with his colleagues on Wednesday July 11th held a peaceful protest against the Excise Duty Amendment bill which introduced taxes on social media and mobile financial services.
The Kyadondo East legislator escaped arrested by whisker after Police swung in to stop the protest that had caused unrest in down town Kampala.
He was later summoned to Kampala Central Police station where he was questioned on Monday July 16th but was later released.
