Hundreds of people including MPs, politicians, artists and the public have thronged Rubaga Cathedral in the Capital Kampala to say prayers for detained singer cum Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine was arrested on Monday last week, tortured by the Special Forces Command before being charged at Gulu Court Martial and remanded to Makindye Military barracks.
Since his remand, a few people have been allowed to access the politician and almost all of them come out worried about his health status.
Until recently, he was being denied access to his personal doctor and even though he was later allowed, there has not been any good news about Bobi Wine’s health.
The Rubaga prayers come a day after nationwide protests demanding the release of the legislator which left 3 dead and scores injured and hospitalized.
By publication time, the mass was still on going.
