Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has explained why she is still single some nine months after separating with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.

Zari dumped the bongo flava star on the 2018 Valentine’s Day.

Although she has admitted that a number of men have expressed interest in filling the void Diamond Platnumz left in her heart, Zari says she is careful to fall in love again.

She has been linked to a South African tycoon and Bryan White, a Ugandan socialite.

The 38-year old mother of five says she would want to be in love again but fears another heart break.

“Not scared to try again,” she said in a string of Snapchat posts on Sunday.

“Just scared to get hurt with the same reasons.”

For now, Zari added, she enjoys her single life.

“Being single is cute, no stress, more fresh and flawless skin.”
