2018 has been yet another competitive year in the Ugandan Music Industry with upcoming and already established artistes putting out amazing songs and breathtaking videos.
Tower Post Entertainment has come up with the list of top 20 Ugandan songs of the year after seeking opinions of key stake holders in the industry including artistes, deejays, fans and also entertainment journalists.
Many of those we talked to gave Bobi Wine’s hit song “Kyarenga” as the ‘song of the year’.
Other songs that made it to the list include King Saha’s “Biri Biri”, gospel artiste Levixone’s “Turn The Replay” and “Tukwatagane” by upcoming singer John Blaq.
The songs on the list were also ranked according to among other parameters, song quality, Youtube views, song requests and rate of airplay on TV and radio etc.
