Police has this evening released former sports journalist Joseph Kabuleta on Police bond.

Supporters of Kabuleta, former New Vision journalist and founder of The Watchman ministers stormed the Special Investigations Division (SIU) headquarters in Kireka this morning demanding his release.

Kabuleta was arrested by detectives Friday evening last week at UMA show grounds in Kampala.

He was locked up at the Special Investigations Division (SIU) headquarters in Kireka on charges of offensive communication to the President of Uganda.
