The House of Uganda’s Anglican Church Bishops on Wednesday elected Bishop Samuel Stephen Kazimba Mugalu of Mityana Diocese as the new Archbishop.
Now archbishop-elect until his consecration in March 2020, Kazimba will replace Stanley Ntagali.
He will be the ninth archbishop of the Church of Uganda (CoU).
