Kenyan news anchor Jeff Koinange has confirmed he has tested positive for the coronavirus.
He posted on his Twitter on Monday,
Folks, just to let you know, I have tested POSITIVE for Covid-19. I’m doing Good..NO symptoms…and my Family is fine. All my close contacts have been informed. Right now I’m in self isolation. The announcement comes a day after he was missing from his Sunday news show he hosts alongside Victoria Rubadiri on Citizen TV.
On Friday, another Citizen reporter, Stephen Letoo, tested positive for the coronavirus.
Letoo has been at the forefront in covering the Covid-19 pandemic before he contracted the virus.
