President Yoweri Museveni has mocked Lord Mayor Lukwago saying he almost got a heart attack when his Deputy Sarah Kanyike was appointed to a ministerial position.
“I want to express sympathy to my son Lukwago (Erias) who almost got a heart attack because I captured a big fish from my old party (DP),” Museveni said in a post made on his Twitter platform.
The president was congratulating Ms. Kanyike upon her appointment as the Minister for Disabilities and Elderly.
Kanyike takes Adrian Tandeka’s place having been appointed to the same position in 2016 but later rejected by the Appointments committee.
“I congratulate Ms. Sarah Kanyike upon her appointment as State Minister for Disabilities and the Elderly,” Museveni said.
