Friday 23 July is all about the Opening Ceremony (12:50 LIVE on SuperSport PSL, SuperSport Maximo 1 and SuperSport GOtv Select 1), an iconic Olympic Games event which sees all competing nations taking to the field at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo in a true celebration of the human spirit.
Saturday 24 July opens with Beach Volleyball (01:50 LIVE on SuperSport OTT4 and SuperSport Maximo 1) – always a favourite of Olympic fans – followed by the ‘sweet science’ of Boxing, with the Men’s and Women’s Round of 32 matches (03:55 LIVE on SuperSport La Liga and SuperSport GOtv Select 1).

“I know a lot of people are expecting so much from us, and we just want to urge them to continue supporting,” said Zambia star Evarine Katongo. “We are definitely going to do our level best at the Olympics so that we reach their expectations because we not going there to participate but to compete and we are going to do our very best.”
