Twitter Barbecue Party Returns Tomorrow in 5th Edition

After close to two years of lockdown due to the Covid19 pandemic, Ugandans on Twitter have yet another opportunity to meet up, network and have fun together at the 5th edition of the Twitter Barbecue Party.

Organized by Touchvert, a Digital Agency in Uganda, the party has always gathered digital marketing practitioners both professionals and students who share knowledge and ideas on how to grow together in the global village that is the internet.

The 5th edition of the gathering is slated to take place at Kati Kati Grounds in Lugogo.

“2022 has offered us a second chance at life and although we are not yet fully released by the Covid19 pandemic, with all detailed SOPs in mind, we intend to blow your mind this year,” said Paul Weboya, the team lead at Touchvert.

“We have been cooking, and we are now ready to serve!” he added.

The Twitter Barbecue Party is a networking and fun party that started with the intention of bringing together Ugandans on Twitter (UOT) and other social media platforms for a meet and greet musical event.

A barbecue party tends to be one of the most popular gathering ideas to bring people and ideas together, not just in Uganda but across the world. These types of parties are generally informal and people organize these in the backyard of their homes, simply setting a grill, ordering some clean fuel like propane (from websites similar to https://discount-propane.com), and enjoying their hearts out with their favorite people around.

The Barbecue Party in Uganda, however, was driven by a popular outcry and demand from many people in the digital space who craved to have a better networking platform where they could connect, and share ideas and opportunities in the digital marketing arena in Uganda.

To spice up the networking event, this year’s edition promises a showcase of Uganda’s favorite DJs and artistes all sharing a stage to entertain revelers.

The Party will be headlined by a reggae band featuring renowned reggae artist Elijah Kitaka who will share the stage with DJ Dexter, Wabz DJ, Hypeman Paul, Deejay Kathy and Emeka MC.

Ticket sales have been ongoing and late comers still have an opportunity to grab an early bird ticket today for only Shs10,000 via UG Tickets >> https://www.ugtickets.com/event/twitter-barbecue-party-5/.

The charge at the gate will be Shs15,000 only.
