Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers SC have signed Congolese goalkeeper Alfred Macumu Mudekereza.
Mudekereza is the second Congolese signing by the Venoms in the ongoing transfer window, on a day they also signed Olivier Osomba.
He joins on a three-year deal, and expected to compete with Fabien Mutombora, if he stays, for a starting place.
I’m feeling very happy; really happy to be here and to work in this great club and Starr doing my stuff on the pitch as soon as possible,” he is quoted by Vipers Media.
“I’m very ambitious, l come here to try to win everything, to try to push from the first minute and to make us better.”
“Obviously l want to win more. I come here to fight for all the competitions. We have many competitions ahead – we’re going to fight for everything.”
Mudekereza joins Kitende from Congo’s Bukavu Dawa and has also played for AS Vita.
