Nile Breweries Limited through their flagship brand Nile Special have lined up top performers to thrill rugby fans and party lovers at the finale of the Nile Special Rugby championship slated for Saturday June 1st, 2024.
The finale which will be played at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Kampala will pit defending Champions Stanbic Black Pirates against 16-time champions Platinum Credit Heathens.
The finals are happening for the first time in Ugandan rugby after a restructuring that saw playoffs introduced at the start of the year.
According to officials from Nile Breweries, Saturday is going to be an ultimate celebration for all party lovers in Kampala as the day will not only feature the highly anticipated finale but will also have extra enjoyments off the pitch.
Famed rapper Fik Fameica is set to headline the after party that will also feature singing trio Warafiki and Evelyn MC to hype up crowds.
NTV’s Etania, Duke Play, Ken the DJ, DJ Essmatic, DJ Kenzil and Bexxx A DJ will be the selectors of the day.
The rugby finals will start off at 4PM but for a better experience, it is advisable for one to arrive at the venue two hours prior for them to be able to enjoy the other services that Kyadondo rugby club offers.
For your lunch, you can enjoy pork skewers, boiled chicken, the famous Kigere from Mama Kanyanya alongside other local foods which you can then wash down with an icy cold Nile Special to set the foundation for the day’s enjoyments.
