Exciting winger Shafik Kwikiriza has joined KCCA on a long-term deal. The former BUL player signed a five-year-deal with the Kasasiro Boys, the club has confirmed.
“It’s a dream come true,” the senior six student at Jinja Progressive Secondary School (JIPRA) delightfully revealed after joining the 13-times Uganda Premier League (UPL) winners.
“I have had conversations with the club manager and he shared with me his grand plan and philosophy and I believe I can be a key figure to his plans.”
“I want to add on the rich history of this club and I trust that we can do this together with my other teammates,” the winger said after being unveiled at Lugogo.
Born on the 03rd of March, 2004, the 20-year-old has agreed to stay at Lugogo until he’s 25 – at the end of the 2028/29 season.
Kwikiriza, who has previously played in the UPL before for BUL in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons can operate effectively anywhere across the forward line, as well as attacking midfield.
Kwikiriza was part of the BUL side that finished second in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and reached the semifinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup last season.
