The Commissioner of Juba County Emmanuel Tete Ezbon has urged citizens to work together to improve their livelihoods and also contribute towards the development of the country.
‘As the Commissioner of Juba County, I call upon all citizens to work together towards the development of our county. We must prioritize hard work, love, unity and peaceful coexistence to pave way for development in our country,” said Ezbon in a statement issued on the eve of the 13th independence anniversary on Tuesday in Juba.
Ezbon eulogized and also paid tribute to the fallen heroes and heroines of the war of liberation, and also thanked them for their sacrifices to liberate this country.
He noted that citizens play critical role in achieving sustainable development, adding that the leadership at various levels are working hard to provide enabling environment for peace to thrive across the country.
“Together we can foster a spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding that will benefit us all. May our country continue to grow and prosper and may the light of peace, unity and prosperity continue to shine brightly in South Sudan for generations to come,” said Ezbon.
