Flooding at Tangi Junction along the Olwiyo—Pakwach road, near Pakwach Bridge, has disrupted travel between Arua and Gulu, as well as Gulu and Kampala.
According to the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) currently, water levels remain elevated, and the teams are closely monitoring the situation, ready to take action once the waters recede.
For those traveling from Kampala to West Nile, the Paraa—Kisanja Park Junction Road remains a reliable route.
Motorists heading from Gulu to West Nile should consider the Atiak—Adjumani route and utilize the Laropi Ferry to access Moyo and nearby areas.
Those traveling to Gulu, Lira, Kitgum, or further, have been recommended to use the Masindi Port ferry via Rwenkunye along the Kampala—Gulu highway during this period.
