Months after leading a raid on the National Unity Platform (NUP) offices, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba who is also the son of President Yoweri Museveni has issued another threat against NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine.

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Muhoozi took to his X (formerly Twitter) account, @mkainerugaba, writing: “Tell Kabobi I didn’t beat him enough in Arua! I’m coming for him again. This time I’ll beat him properly.”

This is not the first time Muhoozi has made such threats against Bobi Wine.

In response, Kyagulanyi fired back, stating: “Challenge accepted! If you beat me, I’ll quit politics. If I beat you, you quit alcohol. Say when and I’ll say where.”

The exchange has since sparked debate online, with supporters from both sides weighing in.
