Renowned Singer Fik Gaza, real name Shafiq Dangote, and others are currently under police custody on cases linked to theft.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, a targeted operation was conducted at the residences of Fik Gaza, following a surge in robbery cases within and outside Katwe Division.

The operation saw four suspects arrested, including Fik Gaza, Magoola Najibu, Mutuba David (alias Mavin Gaza), and Zziwa Charles (alias Mzungu).

During the operation, exhibits including pangas, military attire, and suspected narcotics were recovered and are kept in Police exhibit chambers.

Fik’s residence was found to be harboring some of the city’s most wanted criminals, and one suspect, Zziwa Charles, was discovered to have escaped from custody while facing a murder charge.

Sanctioned files are in place against all the suspects arrested during the operation, and justice is yet to prevail.
