Patrick Salvado has announced a special show to mark his 15-year journey in the comedy industry.

Commonly known as the “Man From Ombokolo,” Salvado made the announcement on his social media platforms, teasing fans with the promise that “it’s going to be a special one.”

A trained telecommunications engineer, Salvado once held a job at one of Uganda’s top telecom companies.

However, in 2011, he made a bold move to leave the corporate world behind in pursuit of a career in comedy.

“I was doing serious work but making unserious money,” he shared in an old interview. “So I decided to find a way to earn serious money from being unserious.”

Since then, Salvado has become one of Africa’s most recognized comedic voices, performing on major stages across the continent and beyond.

The show is set for August 30, 2025, with more details about the venue and ticketing expected to be announced soon.
