Family, friends, and members of Uganda’s business community gathered at the Hindu Crematorium in Lugogo yesterday afternoon to bid farewell to the late Rajiv Ruparelia, the only son of businessman Sudhir Ruparelia.

Rajiv Ruparelia lost his life in a fatal car crash on Saturday, May 3, 2025, near the Busabala flyover along the expressway.

A final ceremony led by Sudhir Ruparelia was held before his body was cremated at the Hindu crematorium at Lugogo in Kampala.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including government officials, business executives, close friends, and members of the motor fraternity in which Rajiv had made a significant impact.
