South Sudanese champions Jamus are set to announce the signing of Ugandan forward, Jude Ssemugabi from Kitara.
Ssemugabi scored ten goals for Kitara last season, and has since been heavily linked to a move to KCCA, with other local outlets indicating that he also already had an agreement with Vipers.
However, the South Sudanese champions who have been so busy in the ongoing transfer are set to announce the Uganda Cranes star as their 15th new signing in a mega unveiling in Juba.
“We invite all our fans to come and attend the reception of Ugandan star Jude Ssemugabi” the club announced on Sunday.
According to the club, Ssemugabi will be at the Juba International Airport by Monday morning, precisely 8:30 AM.
If Ssemugabi joins Jamus, he will play in the CAF Champions League next season, as the club will represent South Sudan in the continental competition.
Jamus won the 2024/25 South Sudan Premier League title unbeaten! They collected 68 points from the 26 matches played, winning 21 games and drawing the other five.
The club has already confirmed 14 new signings so far, including Richard Anyama, Jaffar Kerepi, William Gama, Felix Obama, Hassan Wasswa, Shabani Kagayo, Josue Manuma, Fichal Ouro Guezere, Houessi Hariston Hessou, Hergy Samoni, Madut Chol, Martin Otwao, Kevin Muhire and Peter Chan.
