The iconic Nyege Nyege International Festival is set to return for its landmark 10th edition, running from November 20 to 23, 2025, at Kalagala Falls on the Nile in Jinja City.
This year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience, blending music, dance, and art within a stunning, nature-immersed setting. With a vibrant mix of local and international artists, dancers, and creatives, the event offers a unique space where music and nature harmoniously collide—providing a powerful platform for African and global talent to shine.
Ali Alibhai, Group CEO of Talent Africa, the organizers behind the festival, emphasized that the 10-year milestone is not just a celebration of music, but a major economic driver for the Jinja region.
“All hotels are fully booked, the transport sector is thriving, and local vendors are experiencing booming sales,” Alibhai noted, highlighting Nyege Nyege’s impact on local businesses and tourism.
Beyond entertainment, the festival also aims to foster cultural exchange, inviting Africans to reconnect with their heritage, celebrate diversity, and deepen mutual understanding across communities.
As anticipation builds, Nyege Nyege 2025 promises to be a landmark event—one that amplifies art, stimulates the economy, and celebrates the spirit of unity through creativity.
