The wait is over—World of Sounds Season 2, headlined by UK R&B icon Craig David, has officially been launched. The announcement was made during a vibrant press conference held at Noni Vie, hosted by media personality Douglas Lwanga, and attended by some of Uganda’s top music stars who are also slated to perform at the show.
While Craig David himself wasn’t present at the launch, the atmosphere was electric as a host of Ugandan talents—including Myko Ouma, Kenneth Mugabi, Vampino, Benon, MC Kats, Victor Ruz, and Laika Music—showed up in full support, giving fans a taste of the excitement to come.
“Craig may not be in town yet, but what we’re planning is something special—this is not just a performance, it’s a full-on R&B experience,” he said.
Scheduled for August 29, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens, this edition of World of Sounds will mark Craig David’s first-ever live show in Uganda. Fans can look forward to live renditions of his global hits like 7 Days, Fill Me In, and Walking Away under the Kampala skies.
