SC Villa will look to complete a league double over struggling Calvary FC when the two sides meet at Midigo on Monday in the Uganda Premier League.

The Jogoos secured a narrow 1-0 victory in the first-round fixture at Kadiba Stadium last December, with Aslam Ssemakula scoring the decisive goal.

A win on Monday would see Villa climb to second place on 37 points, just one point behind current leaders Vipers, strengthening their push for a top-four finish and potential continental qualification.

However, coach Mourice Juma will be without key players.

Midfielder Najib Yiga is suspended after accumulating his third yellow card of the season in the recent match against Maroons at Kadiba Stadium.

Defenders Elvis Ngonde and Charles Lwanga are also sidelined with injuries.

Despite the absences, Villa enter the game in strong form, having kept clean sheets in their last three league matches and showing defensive resilience.

Calvary FC, meanwhile, remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just five points from 18 matches and are still searching for their first win of the season.

The visitors have struggled defensively and creatively, conceding heavily in recent outings.
