A fresh and deliberate energy swept through Kampala’s nightlife scene as Club Canvas, an experience by Club Pilsener under Nile Breweries Limited, made its much-anticipated debut on Saturday at Muyenga Quarry.
Rather than relying on heavy promotion and oversized billboards, Club Canvas built anticipation through a quiet, strategic rollout.
Invitations spread organically through campuses, social circles, and digital touchpoints, turning potential guests into active participants.
A bucket of Club Pilsener shorties or a simple online interaction was enough to secure a spot on the guest list.

The choice of venue — the raw, expansive Muyenga Quarry — immediately set the event apart.
Guests were welcomed into a dynamic space designed for exploration and interaction.
A tattoo station, live face painting, visual art installations, and gaming zones created multiple zones of engagement, encouraging movement and discovery throughout the night.
The evening’s programming flowed seamlessly.

MC Pest warmed up the crowd before DJs Vanns, Trizzy, and Roja took control, gradually building the energy.
Live performances added depth to the experience: Zagazillions and Fyno UG delivered high-energy sets, while XHAVI and Aaronix maintained the momentum.
Kohen Jayce provided a soulful RnB moment that offered a welcome pause, before MC Viana Indi brought the night to a vibrant close.

Speaking after the event, Wangechi Gitahi, Head of Marketing at Nile Breweries Limited, explained the vision behind Club Canvas: “We wanted to move beyond the traditional nightlife experience and create something more immersive — something that connects people to creativity, culture, and each other in a meaningful way,
“Through Club Canvas, we’re showcasing emerging talent, fresh sounds, and bold expression, while also redefining how consumers engage with Club Pilsener. The response we’ve seen shows that Kampala is ready for more curated, culture-driven experiences. And for us, this is just the beginning.”

By the end of the night, Club Canvas had successfully shifted the conversation in Kampala’s nightlife. What began as quiet curiosity evolved into a fully realised, immersive experience that left guests asking not just what happened, but when the next edition would arrive.
