Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka is grieving the loss of his father, Pastor Okello Lawrence Habalu, following the announcement of the funeral and burial arrangements by the family.

According to the official death notice issued by the family, Pastor Habalu passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 57.

The family described him as a man who touched countless lives and expressed gratitude to God for the memories, love, and service he shared with his family, friends, and the broader community.

According to the funeral programme, a church service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Kamwokya Church of God in Kampala, starting at 3:00 PM.

The burial will take place the following day, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in Bugolole, Kitimbwa, Kayunga District, beginning at 2:00 PM.

Pastor Habalu was well-regarded within church circles as a dedicated and devoted Christian leader.
