Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have continued strengthening their squad with the unveiling of defender Nicholas Mwere.
The Venoms officially presented Mwere to the media and fans at their Kitende headquarters as they build towards a strong 2026/27 season.
Mwere joins Vipers as part of their squad rebuilding efforts, adding depth and experience to the defensive line.
He is expected to compete for a starting spot as the club defends the league title, targets the Stanbic Uganda Cup, and prepares for continental assignments including the CAF Champions League.
With the arrival of Mwere, midfielder Joel Sserunjogi and Congolese defender Jacques Mangoba earlier, Vipers are showing clear intent under head coach Denis Lavagne to maintain dominance in domestic football while improving their performance on the regional and continental stage.
The club will look to integrate the new signings quickly as pre-season preparations intensify.
