As a way of stopping women killings in the municipalities of Nansana and Entebbe, the head of Uganda’s Police wants all females in love relationships to be registered.
“All girls and women in relationships must be registered. How it will be done I don’t know,” Gen Kale Kayihura told residents of Katabi in Entebbe on Thursday.
Kayihura argued that cheating was one of the causes of women killings in Entebbe and Nansana, Wakiso district.
At least 24 women have been murdered in Wakiso in the past 16 weeks.
Police has linked the murders to domestic violence, ritual sacrifice and devil worship.
